Notes

'Blue Dune' blue lyme grass (Leymus arenarius 'Blue Dune') is a grass for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It spreads aggressively by rhizomes, so give it room or edge the bed. Pale blue-gray leaves arch gracefully, and buff flower spikes rise above them in summer.

Pairs well with Purple milkweed, Ornamental onion, and Cushion spurge.
