Notes

'Blue Giant' freesia (Freesia 'Blue Giant') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large, fragrant flowers are heliotrope with a white base and a yellow throat veined purple. They bloom from early to late summer, and F. Rijnveld bred it.

Pairs well with Karma Choc dahlia, Taro, and Vetiver.
