Notes
Blunt spikerush (Eleocharis obtusa) is a grass with a grass-like habit, dark green foliage, and a mature height of up to 36 inches. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Because it blooms twice, you can watch for flowers in both seasons.
Pairs well with Foxtail barley, Coyote willow, and Black Oil sunflower.
