Notes
'Brasil' velvet-leaf philodendron (Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil') is a houseplant for containers, indoor spaces, and low maintenance care. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Its evergreen stems cascade down to about 36 inches and grow at a rapid pace.
Pairs well with Jade pothos, Zebra plant, Holly fern, and Angel wings.
