Notes

'Brown Sugar' dahlia (Dahlia 'Brown Sugar') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The copper, orange, and red-brown blooms give an autumnal color range. It is floriferous until frost, so you can keep cutting stems for bouquets. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Purple top, Lamb’s ear, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
