Notes
'Butterfly' freesia (Freesia 'Butterfly') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant, semi-double flowers open in early to late summer. They are canary yellow outside and mimosa yellow inside, with lemon yellow edges and white anthers. Bruinsma introduced it.
Pairs well with Taro, Lavender Perfection dahlia, Giant chain fern, and Begonia.
