Notes
Calla lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica) is a perennial for borders, containers, rain gardens, and cut flower displays. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, loamy or clay soil. White spathes with yellow spadices open in spring and again in summer, and the fragrant blooms attract bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumping plants also bring green, variegated foliage to the bed.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, False indigo, and Ornamental onion.
