Notes

'Gigantea' calla lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica 'Gigantea') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, loamy or clay soil. The sulphur yellow spathe has a small purple-black blotch and appears in early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees visit the fragrant flowers.

Pairs well with Mexican petunia, Lemongrass, and Creme de Cassis dahlia.
