Notes
Candelabra lily (Brunsvigia radulosa) is a bulb for containers, rock gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Large umbels of up to 75 bright pink flowers open in summer on stems nearly 24 inches tall. Plant the big bulbs with the neck above the soil, and keep them on the dry side when dormant.
Pairs well with Millenium ornamental onion, Elfin mother of thyme, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
