Notes

Cannonball tree (Couroupita guianensis) is a tree for low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Its fragrant flowers attract bees, and it grows tall and wide, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Ackee, Pond apple, and Red passion flower.
