Notes
Red passion flower (Passiflora coccinea) is an evergreen vine for borders and containers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Scarlet red flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan vine, Red ginger, Mexican bush sage, and Golden dewdrops.
