Notes

'Cherry Berries' wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens 'Cherry Berries') is a shrub for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. The glossy evergreen leaves turn purple in the cool of winter. Large, bright red berries appear in fall and last through winter to spring. It also looks good in mixed containers, especially for the holidays.

Pairs well with Snake Eyes hosta, Emerald Green arborvitae, and Cranberry.
