Notes

'Emerald Green' arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Emerald Green') is a tree for privacy screens, hedges, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense, narrow pyramid of fragrant evergreen foliage. Birds visit it, and it needs little care.

Pairs well with Snowflake moss phlox, Jefam Atlantic nine-bark, Red fescue, and Pearly everlasting.
