Notes

'Chiko' burdock (Arctium lappa 'Chiko') is an annual for meadow gardens. It is one of the more cold-hardy annuals and can keep growing through light freezes with some winter protection. This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows fast and stands erect at 12 to 24 inches tall. Bees and butterflies visit it.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Compass plant, and Foxtail barley.
