Notes

Chilean myrtle (Luma apiculata) is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. It is evergreen, fragrant, and tolerates drought, and birds visit it. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it room, since it can grow tall and wide.

Pairs well with Euonymus, Wallflower, and Vetiver.
