Notes
'Chroma' echeveria (Echeveria 'Chroma') is a succulent for containers, rock gardens, and specimen plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Each rosette swirls together blue-green, apricot, pink, gold, and rose-red. Bright light or a little stress from less water brings out the richest colors, and orange flowers open in early to late summer.
Pairs well with Coppertone stonecrop, African daisy, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
