Notes

Common toadflax (Linaria vulgaris) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast and stands erect, reaching 12 to 24 inches tall. Yellow and orange blooms attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Smooth aster, and Foxtail barley.
