Notes

'Arizona Sun' blanket flower (Gaillardia 'Arizona Sun') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, meadows, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Its red blooms have yellow tips and attract butterflies and bees. It also tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Cat's Pajamas nepeta, Soraya sunflower, and Foxtail barley.
