Notes
'Crimson Ripple' sweet pea (Lathyrus odoratus 'Crimson Ripple') is an annual for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast and climbs to about 71 to 94 inches tall. The flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees.
Pairs well with Double Click Snow Puff cosmos, Common flax, and Red fescue.
