Notes
'Cuban Gold' golden dewdrops (Duranta erecta 'Cuban Gold') is a shrub for borders, hedges, accents, and privacy screens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows quickly and has an arching habit. Light lavender-blue flowers open in spring and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
Pairs well with Angel's trumpet, Lemon grass, and Dragon Wing Red begonia.
