Notes

Daphne (Daphne tangutica) is an evergreen shrub for borders, rock gardens, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Pink, purple, and white flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. It grows slowly into a dense mound 24 to 36 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Coral Sunset peony, and Heather.
