Notes

'Dropmore' blue bugloss (Anchusa azurea 'Dropmore') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, accents, and naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. Deep blue flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Picture tulip, and Sedge.
