Notes
'Picture' tulip (Tulipa 'Picture') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The purple-red blooms open from early to late spring. The flowers have a lilac rose tone and a distinct shape. Plants reach about 24 inches tall, so they work well in the middle of a bed.
Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Spiked speedwell, and Shirley Temple peony.
