Notes

Dwarf fern-leaf bamboo (Pleioblastus viridistriatus) is a grass for borders, containers, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows at a rapid rate and forms a columnar clump of gold and green foliage 3 to 6 feet tall. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to spread, since it can fill a space fast.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Autumn fern, and Foam flower.
