Notes
Dwarf goat's beard (Aruncus aethusifolius) is a perennial for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Ivory flowers appear in late spring and again in summer and autumn. The plant grows 9 to 12 inches tall and 12 to 18 inches wide.
Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Sedge, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
