Notes
'Chantilly Lace' bride's feathers (Aruncus dioicus 'Chantilly Lace') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows 24 to 33 inches tall and 42 to 48 inches wide, so give it room. White blooms appear in early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Western sword fern, and Miss Kim lilac.
