Notes

Dyers woad (Isatis tinctoria) is an annual for low maintenance gardens. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows as an erect plant with blue, gray, silver, and green foliage. Plants reach about 35 to 47 inches tall and bring yellow blooms. Butterflies and birds visit the garden where it grows, and it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Borage, Common poppy, Poppy mallow, and Buffalo grass.
