Notes

Early Jalapeño pepper (Capsicum annuum Early Jalapeño) is a vegetable for food gardens, containers, and borders. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is an open-pollinated jalapeño with an erect habit. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Dark Opal basil, Supersweet 100 tomato, and Spaghetti Squash.
