Notes
Echeveria (Echeveria derenbergii) is a succulent for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It forms a slow, low mound of blue, gray, and green leaves with red edges. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and hummingbirds visit its yellow and red flowers.
Pairs well with Lemon Coral sedum, Sedge, and Lion's tail.
