Notes

Echeveria (Echeveria secunda) is a succulent for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It forms a slow growing mound of evergreen leaves and tolerates drought. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Paddle plant, Stonecrop, and Narrow-leaf chalksticks.
