Notes

Eve's necklace (Styphnolobium affine) is a tree for specimen planting, accents, borders, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant pink flowers open in spring and attract bees. It looks best grown alone because larger neighbors make it spindly. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Beautyberry, and Trumpet honeysuckle.
