Notes

False rue anemone (Enemion biternatum) is a perennial for shade gardens and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. White flowers with five petal-like sepals open in early to late spring and attract bees. It tolerates seasonal flooding and grows in large patches over time.

Pairs well with Paradigm hosta, Canadian white violet, and Autumn crocus.
