Notes

'Federsee' florist's spiraea (Astilbe 'Federsee') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, shade gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It bears deep salmon pink blooms that attract butterflies.
