Notes

'Curly Fries' hosta (Hosta 'Curly Fries') is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It forms a low mound of yellow foliage with lavender blooms and a sweet scent. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, and Kansas peony.
