Fern-leaf aralia (Polyscias filicifolia) is a shrub for containers, screens, and tropical borders. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It reaches 72 to 96 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Small pale yellow to white blooms may appear on mature plants.
Pairs well with Pink banana, Jade pothos, and Flame lily.
