Notes
Feverwort (Triosteum perfoliatum) is a perennial for woodland gardens, naturalized areas, and shady borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). Small, tubular, red to greenish flowers form in few-flowered clusters in the axils of the upper leaves. They open from late spring to mid summer. The stems are hairy and sticky, and the plant grows up to 48 inches tall.
Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Weigela, and Nelly Moser clematis.
