Notes
Weigela (Weigela Florida) is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late spring, and the flowers are fragrant. Hummingbirds visit the blooms. It grows 47 to 71 inches tall and wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Blazing star, Mexican hat, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Buffalo grass.
