First Knight fountain grass

Garden uses

Notes

'First Knight' fountain grass (Pennisetum 'First Knight') is a grass for annual beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 48 to 60 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Deer tend to pass it by. Give it room to spread so the tall stems have space.

Pairs well with Snapdragon, Shiso, and Tuberose.
