Notes

Flamboyant (Delonix regia) is a tree for low maintenance and xeriscape gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and bees and birds visit the flowers. Give it plenty of room, since it can reach 40 feet tall or more.

Pairs well with Jacaranda, Frangipani, Orange bougainvillea, and Mango.
