Notes

'Flore Pleno' yellow marsh marigold (Caltha palustris 'Flore Pleno') is a perennial for rain gardens, meadows, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It forms a mounding clump and blooms in early to late spring. Bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Crested wood fern, American maidenhair fern, and Red fescue.
