Notes
Fortunearia (Fortunearia sinensis) is a tree. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 144 to 180 inches tall and 144 to 180 inches wide, so give it plenty of room to spread. Red flowers open in mid spring. The blooms add color to the garden before summer arrives.
Pairs well with Tree peony, Blue fescue, Stargazer lily, and Anglojap yew.
