Notes

'Foxhollow' winter heath (Erica carnea 'Foxhollow') is a shrub for rock gardens, containers, borders, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen mound. Bees visit the flowers, which open in winter and last into spring.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Sweet alyssum, and Ornamental onion.
