Notes
Giant elephant's ear (Leucocasia gigantea) is a perennial for tropical-style borders, pond edges, and bold foliage displays. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It grows 48 to 84 inches tall and wide, so give it plenty of room. Yellowish-white flowers appear in mid to late spring and early summer.
Pairs well with Creme de Cassis dahlia, Red Lion amaryllis, Italian cypress, and Lemon Grass lemongrass.
