Giant Winter spinach

Garden uses

Notes

'Giant Winter' spinach (Spinacia oleracea 'Giant Winter') is a vegetable for containers and food gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. Few crops handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows rapidly and stands erect, and it is ready to pick in 45 days.

Pairs well with Bauer lettuce, Ruby Queen beet, and Giant of Italy parsley.
