Notes

'Gold Rush' dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Gold Rush') is a tree for specimen planting, rain gardens, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil of most types. It grows at a rapid rate and forms a pyramidal shape. Give it plenty of room to reach its full size. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Tamarack, Royal fern, Swamp milkweed, and Inkberry.
