Notes

'Gold ‘n Sapphires' lithodora (Glandora diffusa 'Gold ‘n Sapphires') is a groundcover for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Blue flowers open in spring and again in summer, and the foliage holds its color all summer even in the sun. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Use it at the front of the border, on banks, or spilling over walls.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Spiderwort, and Blue Chiffon rose of sharon.
