Notes

'Golden Goddess' giant timber bamboo (Bambusa multiplex 'Golden Goddess') is a grass for containers, specimen plantings, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It grows at a rapid rate and stays evergreen with an arching habit. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Salt does not bother it, so it suits coastal gardens.

Pairs well with Italian cypress, Oleander, and Bishop of Llandaff dahlia.
