Notes

Gray stonecrop (Rhodiola pachyclados) is a succulent for containers, low maintenance spots, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It spreads about 12 inches wide, so give it a little room. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought once it settles in.

Pairs well with Elfin mother of thyme, Lavandin, and Autumn moor grass.
