Notes
Greater fringed gentian (Gentianopsis crinita) is an annual for meadow plantings. This plant likes part sun or part shade and moist soil. It grows up to 30 inches tall and often branches above. Blue flowers with fringed petals appear in early to mid autumn. Each bloom opens in the sun and closes at night. If you give it the right conditions, it will self-sow.
Pairs well with White snakeroot, Gentian, and Tussock sedge.
