Notes
Gentian (Gentiana alba) is a perennial for meadow gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil. Upright stems end in clusters of cream, funnel-shaped flowers that open slightly at the tips. They bloom from late summer into early to mid autumn above bright green leaves.
